Have a nice afternoon ;)

Numbers

Let's learn the numbers from 1 to 20, first! And do no forget the zero ;)

And now let's play the hide and seek's game ;)

Hello Song for Children | A Simple Greeting Song

Sorry! Here you have the Hello Song which I refered in the first post! A Simple greeting song! =)

The alphabet

In their first classes, it's also important to remember the alphabet. Say the letters and make them repeat the sound correctly.

With this, you can also teach them to ask What's your name? and answer My name is ______ and than spell the name. That way, they can learn how to say the letters.

The ABC Song

A simple song to sing! =)

Word search puzzle for classroom objects

Hello! Here you have a word search puzzle. Make your students say the names first and then they will find the words more easily. Have fun! =)

Classroom objects

Because that's important for them to know the classroom vocabulary and how to ask "posso afiar o lápis" ou "a caneta ou a lápis", in this class they will learn how to say some objects that they usually use. For that, I chose some exercises that you can see here:

1.

Attention: that's important that you say the words and make them repeat, in order to say them correctly.

You can also revise the numbers here (this kind of exercises, I'm using them for students who have 8 or 9 years).

2.

Now that they know some words, teach them to say What's this? It's a _________ . Than you can put a student asking another or make him close his eyes and try to guess what he has in his hands.

Pay attention: there are some new words in this exercise.

My english portfolio

Because that's important to have a portfolio to keep all the exercises done in class, here are some examples of English portfolio cover. Choose the one you like most! ;)

Soon I'll put here others too!

Presentation

That's it! In the first lesson it´s important to introduce yourself to the kids and remind them the classroom rules. Although, there are many simple musics that can be used in your first lesson, as the one that we have here. A little song to say Hello! How are you? and Hello! I'm fine, thank you! Take a look! ;)
